CALL TO ACTION (CTA) FELLOWSHIP
"...From Flow, to Theater Show, to Fellow...ship!"
In 2011, Joeson “DJ APEX” Owusu-Spencer completed his undergraduate studies at University of the Pacific. This same year, he released his social justice-themed mixtape; Call to Action (CTA). Met with a warm community reception, the years following CTA's release were filled with live performance opportunities throughout California. The productive engagement Joeson often experienced with audiences after performances inspired the expansion of the mixtape from flow, to theater show, to fellow...ship!
